Soffit light Architecturally, the term "soffit" usually refers to the completed quilt subject matter that is attached beneath the rafter edges and bridges the gap between the exterior wall & the threshold of the eaves. It can also refer to the enclosed area continuously discovered above the upper cabinets in a kitchen or along the ceiling in different rooms in a area. Architecturally exciting, soffits are frequently used as an area for hiding wiring, plumbing or recessed lighting. Tucked under a roof or close to a ceiling, this architectural characteristic adds a sophisticated glance at the same time as concealing wires, lights or plumbing.
